How to apply for a Pan Card offline process
PAN stands for the permanent account number that is utilized for identifications cards for Indians. Mainly, this pan card is applicable only for people those who pay your income tax. It is nothing but, pan card is unique alpha-numeric code as well as it has 10 characters. It is issued to own by income tax department of India under the authority and supervision of a central board of direct taxes. This unique code also serves as the essential evidence of identification. It has several similarities to driving license as well as aadhar card number. It is also issued to foreign countries also. But, it is not used as citizenship proof. It is only used for financial transactions like opening banks, getting salary as well as many others.
Some steps given below to Offline Process of Applying for PAN Card – Permanent Account Number
1. Download Application Form of PAN Card (Form-49)
First of all you need to download the application form to get Permanent Account Number also take this form through nearest NSDL or PAN Card Office. The direct link given below to download it.

After that Fill the all information in the application form. If any fault in the application form, your application to get a Permanent Account Number will be rejected. So be carefully fill all the details in the form.
3. Require Documents & Photo
After that Attach the required documents and DD/Cheque for payment with the application form. And also paste your passport size photograph and signature.
Applicant should sign at the 3 specified positions on this photo-affixed form as follows:
• On the left side box, sign across the affixed photograph.
• On the right side box, sign below the photo in the space provided.
• On page 2 of the form, sign in the bottom right side box in the space provided.
4. Submit the Application Form
After all the formalities you need to submit your application form to the nearest NSDL or PAN Card Office and also send by post (India Post) to given address.
